Documentary Distance Learning Module 1

PLEASE NOTE: This entire course can be completed with just an internet connected device (i.e. computer or smartphone), and a pen & paper. No other equipment is required! That's all you need!

As part of ADMA's continuing effort to open up E-Learning to all Rwandans, we are now sharing our Documentary Pre-Production course to the public.

You can check out the first documentary modules here below.

Upon completion of the first set of modules participants will have developed a proposal for their documentary idea.

These tutorials and assignments are all dedicated to PRE-PRODUCTION (developing an idea, expanding on it) and therefore NO GEAR IS REQUIRED to participate.

This entire PRE-PRODUCTION portion can be completed with just an internet connection on a smartphone (or computer) and a pen and paper. That's all you need!

Each summary should be no less than 50 words and no more than 100 words.

Include:

What was the story about?

How do you feel at each scene? 

Positive - happy, excited, engaged / Negative- sorrow, frustration, sadness. 

What type of shots were chosen? 

What did you learn?
